Dales Dash

The Race

The Dales Dash, supported by Newcastle (Staffs) AC, will be on Sunday 4th December, at Apedale Community Country Park , starting at 11am

The run is held over a 10km traffic free, multi-terrain course.

The Newcastle Dales Dash is an annual multi-terrain race across the reclaimed coal mining landscape west of Newcastle-under-Lyme. The route of the race takes in most of Apedale, now a Community Country Park with woodlands, meadows and pools. The race then takes a turn around Lymedale, once site of the famous Brymbo pit but now a solar panelled business park with wetlands and fishing ponds incorporated.

All runners will receive an attractive T-shirt bearing the Apedale Community Country Park logo and prizes go to all the usual categories.
